This Acupuncture for Professionals diploma program is an eight (8) month part time diploma program in Acupuncture with emphasis on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  

Acupuncture for Professionals is designed for Professionals such as Medical Doctor's, Chiropractor's, Nurses, RMT's, Athletic Trainers etc.  Acupuncture is a growing area as an adjunct therapy for individuals already practicing in the health care field.

NOTE:  Acupuncture Program is on a list of self-confirmed programs on the CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario) website.

The program has been designed to teach you the basic and advanced techniques in acupuncture and to give you the practical skills necessary to practice safely and proficiently as well as get results quickly for your clients. 

The program is intensive and comprehensive and almost every practitioner who has completed this course will tell you, "you will feel confident to tackle just about anything you meet."

Our professional students are surprised at how much comprehensive information, experience and practical they receive but, even more amazed at how much they remember and the healing they achieve with their clients.

Evaluation:
  • Full attendance at all in class practical course sessions or completion of a makeup appointment (tutorial fees will apply)
  • Completion of required reading assignments and essays
  • Satisfactory completion of case studies and dissertation
  • A passing grade of 70% or higher on the final theory and practical examinations

Prerequisite:
  • APP 101 Anatomy and Physiology
  • If students have previously taken this course from a registered educational institution, a transcript is needed for exemption.
  • College Manual is included in the cost of tuition however the required textbooks can be purchased through the ICNH website shopping cart or the school directly.
